Government I just can’t stand… 4 things that p*ss me off!

1. Humana – For those who do not pay attention Humana, an insurance giant, is now under investigation because of a statement that it sent out. Humana sent a mailing to seniors subscribed to the Medicare Advantage Program warning that “millions of seniors and disabled individuals could lose many … important benefits and services that make Medicare advantage health plans so valuable.” The letter urges enrollees to protest the proposed legislation to their members of Congress.

First, let me state… anyone has the right to lobby anyone else in whichever way they see fit, we are free, whether against our country, for our country, etc., etc. That being the case. Why have they now been put under investigation for their OPINION backed by fact?!? Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.) is an @ss and I can’t see how someone could even possibly state… ‘It is wholly unacceptable for insurance companies to mislead seniors regarding any subject – particularly on a subject as important to them, and to the nation, as health care reform. … From lower prescription drug costs to free preventive care to better treatment for chronic conditions, seniors have so much to gain from health reform and I’m not going to let insurance company profits stand in the way of improving Medicare for seniors.’

Even though the proposed legislation would cut Medicare and Medicaid spending by about $500 BILLION over 10 years, but Baucus and President Obama contend that money will come from cutting waste and fraud currently bloating the programs — not from cutting benefits. REALLY?!?! They think both YOU and I are MORONS… WAKE UP… PLEASE KEEP READING BECAUSE THIS LEADS ME INTO POINT 2.

2. So this BLOATING that we’re gonna relieve… let’s get right down to it. Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts has slipped $20 million dollars for his old pal Ted Kennedy into a bill to fund an educational institute in honor of the late Massachusetts Senator. The problem? Kerry snuck the money into a defense spending bill. Whatever happened to no more earmarks and special favors? Isn’t that what Pelosi said?!?

What exactly is the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate? Glad you asked. From the Boston Globe: “The institute will serve as a focal point for the late Massachusetts senator’s legacy, much as presidential libraries do. It will house Kennedy’s official papers and oral histories from the nearly half-century he served in the Senate.”

OMG! Did I just read that right… so I have Medicare in the Democrats left hand… and we’re going to cut $500 billion from elderly care, but 20 million of that i’m going to put in my right hand so a Super Rich White Man (who drove off a bridge, left a girl to die, dropped out of college, and, let’s face it, can sell a christmas card from his brother to make this money) can have a place to keep his papers. REALLY?!?! And YOUR OK WITH THIS!!!

Which leads me to number 3
3. Bite me Jew Boy!… that’s what was written to Alex Rosenwald of ALG from Jane Stone a Dateline NBC Producer from her Blackberry. This was the response from Stone after she received an email from ALG Stating “The only way Congress can unravel all of the various funding measures in the ’stimulus’…. is to pass the ‘Defund ACORN Act’ immediately” Like i said before WE’RE THE RACISTS. Ridiculous. NBC has thwarted the allegations stating that what stone actually sent was to take her off the mailing list. We know ALG checked it’s servers, We know it came from a blackberry, and if you carry one, ESPECIALLY if it’s part of your work, it never leaves your hip or pocket except when you take a shower. So i’m not sure who the anti-Semite is in her house but someone’s there and she better find him…

4. I almost died when I saw this….

Really, don’t let your kids watch this because I started to write down falsities and I couldn’t keep up! First 50% of our taxes goto the Military… How is it even possible to lie this much… Youtube is almost like video wikipedia now. Facts are nowhere to be found but at least wikipedia has a fact checking section. Just sit back and be sickened for the next 20 minutes… UGH… oh and thanks to global warming for the balmy 64 degrees at the end of September… PLEASE!!!

YOU LIE!!! (knock, knock, knock).. must be the feds at my door

Let me start by saying thank you, Mr. President, for FINALLY addressing the race issue, and Jimmy is still an a-hole. I am still against government taking over any part of the health care industry, and a single payer option WILL Nationalize Healthcare at some point… but, the last part of this interview upset me so much i just have to comment.. so here we go.

How arrogant. How arrogant to think that we, as human beings, are so naive that we can begin to comprehend that he has no idea about what is going on in his organization. Does any politician at this point really believe that they can sit there and deny the fact that they had NO KNOWLEDGE of a subject when we pay for 100’s upon 1000’s of analysts, PR people, czars, etc. and not one of them came up and said… “psssst. Just to keep you up to date, mr. president, ACORN is on tape making up job names for pimps and hos and funneling money to them for housing so they can have a place of business and, as a side note, ACORN is explaining how to bring in minors to the US from other countries for the same purpose.” COME ON!!!! THAT EVEN SOUNDS RIDICULOUS WHEN I TYPE IT… YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!! YOU AND I are much, MUCH smarter than that.

Ok… so let’s just validate some information for my sanity. Obama said they would go over the budget with a “fine toothed comb”… apparently that hasn’t been done… ok… well, he said that he didn’t know about the money that was being funneled to ACORN… hmm… but.. but his campaign did give them $800k for voter registration during his election (half had to be discarded)… and didn’t the government sign them up and gave them money to work the census… wow… looks like he hasn’t been telling the truth about much regarding ACORN. He’s gotta be telling the truth about everything else though, right?

We as Americans are out of our minds if we believe this is in any form of viable change. Inner city or rural, white or black or yellow or green or whatever. The fact that Americans even fell for this line of bull shows that our society has been built up to have us not think for ourselves. We cannot be puppets for any group or individual anymore!

Before I leave this article may I also make a comment on the brilliant investigative skills of George Stephanopoulos. Here’s the exchange:

STEPHANOPOULOS: How about the funding for ACORN?

OBAMA: You know, if — frankly, it’s not really something I’ve followed closely. I didn’t even know that
ACORN was getting a whole lot of federal money.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Both the Senate and the House have voted to cut it off.

OBAMA: You know, what I know is, is that what I saw on that video was certainly inappropriate and
deserves to be investigated.

STEPHANOPOULOS: So you’re not committing to — to cut off the federal funding?

OBAMA: George, this is not the biggest issue facing the country. It’s not something I’m paying a lot of
attention to.

Wow… now that’s just exquisite. The way he just probed deeper and deeper. “Hear about ACORN” “Yeah , but” “They’re cuttin off funding” “Hmmm”. I’ve had a more detailed conversation with my 4 year old. Apparently that was not in the president’s interest to talk about, even though most Americans would like to know some answers. How did the president end it? It was like Obama-Wan Kenobi… He waved his hand and said, “George/ABC, We don’t need to talk about ACORN… You want to move on to the next subject”. Except the force, apparently in this fairy-tale, is the fact that the President can command someone in the FCC to pull their license and take Georgie off the air in a heartbeat. I wonder how long it’s gonna take for ABC News to get a bailout due to low ratings. Guess it’s no matter, we’ll all be governmently funded soon enough.
